Shipping Policy
1. Processing vs. Transit Times
To avoid confusion regarding chargeback timeframes, we strictly distinguish between Processing Time and Transit Time.
-
Processing Time: Orders typically take [e.g., 1-3] business days to be picked, packed, and handed to the carrier.
-
Transit Time: The time between when the carrier scans the package and when it is delivered. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Atech Innovation.
2. Carrier Liability
Once your order has been dispatched and scanned by the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL), the responsibility for the delivery timeline shifts to the carrier.
We do not issue refunds or process chargeback disputes for delays caused by:
-
Weather events (hurricanes, blizzards, floods).
-
Carrier operational delays (missorted packages, facility backlogs, staffing shortages).
-
Postal service “delivery exceptions.”
-
Incorrect address information provided by the customer (see Section 5).
3. "Guaranteed Delivery" Disclaimer
While we strive to ensure your order arrives quickly, Atech Innovation does not guarantee specific delivery dates unless you have purchased an expedited shipping method that explicitly includes a money-back guarantee from the carrier.
If a carrier fails to meet their estimated delivery window:
-
We will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier if the package is lost.
-
We do not refund shipping fees or the cost of goods solely due to carrier transit delays, provided the package is confirmed as “In Transit” or “Delivered” by the carrier’s tracking system.
4. Lost Packages
If a tracking number shows “Delivered” but you did not receive the item:
-
You must contact the carrier directly to verify the geolocation of the delivery scan.
-
We are not liable for stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
-
If a package is confirmed as “Lost” by the carrier (no tracking scans for [e.g., 15] business days), we will either replace the item or issue a full refund after we receive compensation from the carrier claim.
5. Customer Responsibility for Address Errors
Chargebacks resulting from failed delivery due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout are not valid.
-
If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient or incorrect address, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
-
If a package is delivered to the incorrect address provided by the customer, we are not liable for the loss, and chargebacks will be contested with proof of delivery to the address provided.
6. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any delays or failure in performance of any part of these terms, including shipping timelines, to the extent that such delays or failures are caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, or delays by common carriers.
7. Dispute Resolution
By placing an order with us, you agree that carrier transit delays do not constitute grounds for a chargeback. If a chargeback is filed due to a carrier delay, we reserve the right to present the tracking history and this policy to the issuing bank to dispute the reversal of funds.
